Cookies

There is one, it keeps you signed in, and there is nothing to opt out of.

We don't track you. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party cookies, no "we value your privacy" pop-up designed to wear you down. There is nothing here to consent to, which is why we're not asking.

The cookie we set

NameWhat it doesHow long
_spaxle_hq_key Keeps you signed in and protects forms against forgery. Without it you'd have to click an email link on every page. Your session — up to 14 days, or until you sign out

It is strictly necessary — the legal category that doesn't require consent, because the service can't work without it. It's HttpOnly (JavaScript can't read it), Secure (HTTPS only), and SameSite=Lax (it won't be sent from other sites).

What we don't set

You can check: open your browser's developer tools, look at the cookie jar, and you'll find the one above and nothing else.

Local storage

The app remembers small preferences in your browser's local storage — how wide you dragged a panel, whether you collapsed a sidebar. This never leaves your machine and isn't an identifier. Clearing your browser data resets it, and nothing breaks.

Things your browser loads from elsewhere

The design editor's typefaces come from Google Fonts. They set no cookie. As with any file your browser fetches, Google sees your IP address and browser. It's in the table on our privacy policy.

Turning it off

You can block cookies in your browser, but the session cookie is how we know it's you — block it and you won't be able to sign in. There's no tracking to opt out of, so there's nothing else to switch off.
